With the help of Veteran Irie Vibes Manager Mariboo Boa and this great lineup of Dub Alchemists, we still brought an amazing dub show to Irie Vibes on this solstice. I was not expecting to play first set, but did anyway. More comfortable with 2nd set, MoShI featured his original dubs and unique mic work - aaiight!?. Irie Denja blew me away. What can I say? This was a classic Dub Collective party. CaptainBuck blasted us off with a dark set and led us into the light. Following Buck's set, the weather waxed omnipotous as DJ Toofless Omnipotous Weatherwax seized control. The session was well attended in this nice hangout spot Llanna made just for the occasion (and for future parties) - thank you for hosting our last road show sexy Ms. Lane! I saw Polish chat for the first time - woot! By the time I started my set Europe had gone to bed, which is ok. Europe was getting a little cranky by that point and needed its nap. What can I say about the Drome? They Rock!! Database issues or some kind of crap rendered the stream unavailable for at least half the listeners through the viewer. Did that stop this group? No. Most of the audience ended up listening to my stream via their own media players, and I had a solid 10+ listeners through the show. Very fun party for a Monday night, too.
I told everyone I'd crammed about 3 hours of music into 2. So looking back, I played for a little over 2 hours and all the music I played amounts to a little over 2.75 hours of sound which I crammed into that space. This is the show scheduled to take place @ Zion I. In the ensuing time, the sim changed ownership, so this amounted to a housewarming party for our purple host Omnipotous Weatherwax in a place he'd just built, called Dub Central.
The Japanese Posse was in full effect - in fact without them, I think it might have been little more than the DJ's and the host -- big up to the Rasta Linxxx crew and Japan crew!! YOSHIYUKI Jenkins had the first set full of great dubs - real rasta reggae dub, and excellent effects laden mic work.
I started around half an hour after Yoshi's set due to technical difficulties RhinoLip was experiencing. While we waited for Rhino to sort it out, we had one of the longest and most fun gesture sessions I've ever had. We made a kind of music of our own. We had a great time at Zion I, hosted by Moshi with stream switches and warm up set by "DJ Toofless" Omnipotous Weatherwax. Contrary to schedule, I opened the show so Eliphas could take last set. RhinoLip Congrejo stayed heavy on the electronic side of dub with a lot of new bass and dubstep. Dub alchemist Eliphas Ultsch (above) played an extra long set full of great dub old and new punctuated throughout by recordings of Malcolm X - it was a powerful set!

Greetings :) I am Shandy Stradling of the Stradling Shands of Kansafornistan. In the metaverse known as Second Life, I am a DJ who specializes in Dub. I am starting this blog, because fans have asked me to post my play lists. Here, you will also find my current schedule with slurls for the locations in the metaverse where the shows happen. If it all works out, there may be some other features to this blog as well.
